At the start of the tournament, I though this,

Group G could be tasty. Brazil and Portugal will have their work cut out to qualify against Cote d'Ivoire and their talisman Didier Drogba. Grief, just imagine what he could achieve if he was more sure of his footing. And then there's the (very) unknown quantity that is North Korea. This may also be a/the Group of Death.

Now that we've had all the Group G games, I reckon that if either Portugal or Brazil win the World Cup then football will have been done a grave diservice. Ivory Coast got what they deserved, i.e. elimination (bet they wished that they'd gone for the win v Portugal now) and North Korea must be glad that they're communists - no need for the win-at-all-costs rubbish from the three so called footballing sophisticates.
