Now I don't pretend to offer an official history of Liverpool FC – although you might find one on this site if you go looking for it, John Motson's BBC version is quite good. I don't have the necessary vocab., never mind any other writing abilities to carry off such a task. But, suffice to say, as a football club its history stands or falls on the honours it has won.
