Didn't watch this - it's one of those pointless games which must be such an anticlimactic experience. Knowing that you are playing in this game because you lost in the semi-final must be the most efficient anti-motivator known to man.
Anyway, for the record, Germany defeated Uruguay to finish third in WC2010. After scoring first through Thomas Muller in the 18th minute, the Germans were behind on 51 minutes as Diego Forlan added to Edison Cavani's 28th minute equaliser. Five minutes later the score was level as Marcell Jansen equalised and Sami Khedira popped up to win the game with a header in the 82nd minute.
