Gary Newbon: Hopes too high for England? Always the same
Mr Newbon is sooooo right doncha think? It is great to see all the flags of St George, even if some of the people flying them are socially undesirable(!). However, on a serious note, until we change the way we play the game, a gallant, agonising departure from the World Cup is forever to be England's fate. But before it all starts it's true that hope springs eternal... less than a day now... can't wait...
