Well there's a thing! I read this and immediately thought of England. But no, it's about Japan. They fancy a top four finish do they? Can't see it myself, especially when they're not even the best Asian team - that honour goes to South Korea. As for England, well I think that as usual we, lead by the gutter press (why the distinction - they're all pretty shady), seem to have half an idea that we too should be able to at least make the last four. Trouble is, no matter who's in charge the same failings raise their ugly heads - primarily we can't keep hold of the ball for long enough to really trouble any side that is half way decent...
