South Korea 2-0 Greece

In today's Cinderella game between two of the most unfancied teams in the World Cup we saw South Korea run out comfortable 2-0 winners against a very disappointing Greek side. Whether Otto Reheggal is still trading on his European Championships victory of six years ago is obviously moot, however the oldest world cup manager in history did little or nothign to motivate his team today. That they pushed for a goal in the final quarter of the game says more about the fact that the Koreans were happy with the 2-0 scoreline.

The first goal was scored by Lee Jung-soo from a corner on just 7 minutes. He ghosted in on the far side of the 6 yard box as the cross eluded at least 3 Greek defenders. The South Koreans remained comfortable throughout the first half and indeed were two up within just 7 minutes of the re-start as Park Ji-sung robbed Loukas Vyntra before beating the Greek 'keeper Tzorvas with a neat finish.
