Paraguay 2-0 Slovakia

South American teams are really getting it together so far at this World Cup Tournament.  Paraguay virtually assured themselves of a place in the last 16 with this victory against a poor Slovakia team.  With their last game against New Zealand, and a point all they need it is looking very good for the Paraguayans.

Anyway, the essentials are this: Enrique Vera opened the scoring on 27 minutes with a deft flick of the outside of his right boot and then Carlos Riveros smashed home the second goal from the edge of the penalty box with five minutes left for play. Carry on.
