Didn't see that so can't really comment on it. However, this win puts the Portuguese firmly in the driving seat with respect to winning what is now (always was?) their two horse race with Ivory Coast for the second spot in this group. It therefore calls into question the tactics of Sven in setting his team out for a draw in the first game against Portugal. With them now on 4 points and Ivory Coast on 1 but with respective goal differences of +7 and -2 Les Éléphants need a hat-full of goals themselves against North Korea - even if Portugal get beaten by Brazil. So whilst cagey tactics in the first game are all well and good, there is definitely something to be said for actually trying to win a game in the group stages. Ask New Zealand.
